# Billing & plans

What each plan includes, and how upgrades and billing work.

## Plans at a glance

ReplayPilot has four self-serve plans plus Enterprise. They differ by monthly session, log, and AI allowances; retention; integration count; and email alerts. Core replay, masking, error, frustration, funnel, and AI features are available on every plan.

Enterprise is not available through self-serve checkout. We configure its session, log, and AI allowances per account, and retention and integrations are unlimited.

## What every plan includes

Even the free plan gets the full product, not a trimmed-down version of it:

- ReplayPilot flags sessions with errors and moves them to the top of your list, so you see the broken ones first.

- Masking hides passwords and card numbers before we ever store a session.

- Error and stack-trace capture works with any Sentry-compatible SDK pointed at your ReplayPilot key.

- Every session records console logs and network requests.

- AI writes a summary of each session, and you can search sessions in plain English instead of building filters by hand. The table above shows the monthly prompt cap.

- Integrations, like webhooks and Slack, work on every plan. The free plan connects up to 3 and paid plans have no limit. See [Integrations](/docs/integrations) for setup.

The one product feature gated by plan is **email alerts**, which need Growth ($79/mo) or higher. See [Alerts](/docs/alerts) for how alerting works.

## Picking a plan

You choose a plan on the pricing page, and that choice carries through into account setup. There's no separate step where you sign up first and get charged later: picking a plan and paying for it happen together as you get started.

## Changing plans

If you're already on a paid plan and switch to a different one, the change takes effect immediately. We don't charge the new plan's full price on top of what you already paid. You get a prorated charge or credit for the difference, based on how far you are into the billing period.

## Managing your card and invoices

Billing runs through **Paddle**, our merchant of record. That means your card details go straight to Paddle when you pay: they never touch ReplayPilot's own servers.

To update your card or download an invoice, go to **Settings → Billing** and open the Paddle billing portal from there. You don't manage payment details anywhere inside ReplayPilot itself.

## If a payment fails

If a charge fails and your subscription goes past-due, we route you to the same Paddle billing portal to fix it, for example by updating an expired card. Switching to a different plan won't work around a failed payment. Clear the past-due status first.
