# Data retention & limits

How long we keep your data, and the caps that apply per plan.

## Retention by plan

Your dashboard retrieval window is the same as your storage retention. Enterprise retention is unlimited; every self-serve plan has a finite published window.

A daily job deletes expired data on every self-serve plan, so you never need to ask. Enterprise data stays until you ask us to delete it.

Every plan has an account-wide log allowance. Once your account hits it, ReplayPilot keeps recording sessions as normal, but stops writing new log lines until older rows age out and free room. For Enterprise, the account's negotiated entitlements carry the allowance.

Want something gone sooner? Delete a single session from its playback page, a whole project from Settings, or your entire account from the Danger zone in Settings. All three take effect immediately. See [Security & masking](/docs/security-masking) for the full list of data rights.

A session stops recording once it hits whichever hard limit comes first: events, data size, or 20 seconds without meaningful visitor activity. If the visitor returns after the inactivity boundary, ReplayPilot starts a new session with a fresh page snapshot.
